The Ya Ha Tinda federal horse ranch is located about 2.5 hours northwest of Calgary, or 1 hour west of Sundre, Alberta. With a good selection of hotels, restaurants, and stores, Sundre serves as an excellent base to explore the Ya Ha Tinda, or as a convenient stopover en route from Calgary, Edmonton, or Red Deer. Discover magnificent landscapes and hidden gems in this beautiful part of the Rocky Mountains.

The map we created shows all the trails, with the most popular/scenic trails highlighted.
